After not writing for nearly 3 months, and running very little, I’m happy to report I’m pounding the pavement and keyboard again. The Christmas rush has ended, late-blooming problems are fading, and I’m no longer working retail/sales. I’m currently looking for a new job and during this break, jumping back into my writing projects.
Writing Update:
- Volume 1 of my women’s suspense series is receiving rejections, but that won’t last forever.
- I’ve polished and pitched an ultra fun LDS romance. Still waiting for someone to grab it up.
- My one and only fairy tale with a pinch of mythical magic is fun to read.
- My 4-volume fantasy series is extremely rough—not ready to querying.
- I started dreaming about turning my children’s story into a series. (Hmmm, I hadn’t thought of writing kid’s books.)
- Last week I wrote the rough draft of my first historical fiction novel.
- Coming up: I’ll share my top 3 rejections notices. They’re winners and deserve wider circulation than only my email/snailmail box!
Running Update:
I’m so stiff today all I can do it sit at my computer. My fingers are stiff too. I should be back on the road again tomorrow. I’ll abandon the Recreation Center’s track if the ice in my happy little village diminishes.
